Blum have, for a long time been focusing their energies on finding the right answers to planning your kitchen, and what is important for you and how you function in your kitchen.  The Result - DYNAMIC SPACE - A new kitchen standard.

Dynamic space is based on planning your kitchen around five main zones

• Consumables - This zone contains typical foodstuffs such as rice, tinned goods, pasta as well as refrigerated food.
• Non-Consumables - This zone is used to store items such as dishes, glasses and cuttlery.
• Cleaning - This "wet zone" contains storage areas, a place for a rubbish bin, household cleaners along with sink and dishwasher.
• Preparation - This is the main zone in your kitchen.  This is where most of the preparation work is done.  Kitchen utensils, electrical appliances, spice and many other items need to be kept close to this work area.
• Cooking - This kitchen zone includes the hotplates, oven, microwave, pots and pans, cooking utensils and baking trays.

Our design team are always excited at the opportunity to work with you to achieve the perfect kitchen, not only for your wants and needs in your kitchen, but to suit your budget. 

Design Process

It's time to make an appointment with our design team to create a custom designed kitchen to suit your needs and tastes.  A member of our team will come to your home, measure your room and discuss your needs and requirements with you.  A basic floor plan and line drawing of your kitchen is provided with your quotation at no charge.  If you would like us to provide a full design service including dimensioned floor plan, 3D colour plans and detailed specifications we charge a small fee of $350.00 to cover our 8-20 hours spent to produce a fully itemised design.  These costs are refunded if you decide to entrust Pro-Form Joinery with your new kitchen.

After the preliminary design is complete, you will be invited back to our showroom to review and discuss the design using full graphic perspectives viewed with our computerised kitchen software, giving you a complete walk through of your new kitchen.

A quote will be presented based apon the design, the types of finishes initially selected and the other trades involved (plumber/electrician etc).  Our designer will carefully go through the quote with you so you fully understand what you have been quoted for.

Now is the time to review the design, materials and finishes against your budgetry constraints and to make decisions on the final look and costings of the kitchen.

Feel free to discuss any design choice or costing options with us - We are totally flexible and understand that the initial design may not be perfectly suited to you or your budget.

The design is then amended and the quotation is then adjusted accordingly.
